Magazine Spread Design
For this project, I was to design a magazine spread; the goal was to create a spread that would lead the viewer's eye across the spread in an interesting way. Throughout this project, I focused on the alignment of the page elements, font type, the text spacing, and imagery.
Page Layout Design
For this project, I was design three pages, one that was character dominant, one that was text dominant, and another that had the headline as the dominant feature. I was to do research on a letter that I chose for the project; each page had to provide text that was taken from my research. The goal was to design pages that would be both interesting and informational.
Form as Letters Design
For this project, I was to create an interesting form using letters that spelled the word, "Typography." This design was to be done in black and white and each letter was to be placed in a square. For my design, I used both serif and sans-serif fonts that alternated from black to white.
