Photomontage and Collage
For this project, I created an image that was to be composed of mostly images that I've taken. These images were not associated with one another but were put together to create a new meaningful image. This image is titled, "Birds of a Flower" and expresses the nature of birds through the beauty of flowers.
Digital Haiku
For this project, I was to create a visual haiku. The goal was to tell a story using three images. For the images, I photographed whatever objects or places I thought were interesting and put them together to create the story. This image set tells a story of danger.
Tableau and Constructed Image
For this project, I was to create two images that were to be physically set up without editing software. I was only to use editing software, such as Adobe Photoshop, to make tonal and color corrections. The two images explore the idea of self-negativity through the use of sticky notes. The top image shows our negative thoughts when preparing for the day, while the bottom shows the struggle of trying to stay positive.
The Four Seasons in Anime
This was the final project in my Digital and Color Photography class. I was free to choose any theme I wanted and approach the project in whatever way I chose. For this project, I chose to do a set of four images representing the four seasons. The seasons are expressed using an anime-like style.
